Originally a modest Edwardian house, behind the original facade is a new, exceptionally modern, environmentally conscious 3,500 sq. ft. home. The new 2-story atrium—framed by an aluminum window system—contains a steel stair with acrylic treads and partitions, which culminates in a cozy 3rd story, light-filled perch with acrylic floor and panoramic view.
Custom cove and wood ceilings grace the living spaces. Sustainable elements include photovoltaic panels, radiant heating Richlite counters, exposed concrete floors, tigerwood flooring from certified renewable sources, naturally pigmented clay plaster, and clear cedar siding.
